As such, Investments have been made in the following:-

1. Cool Earth - 2 x 0.5 acres sites secured and protected in a Awalaki and Ashaninka.
2. Sustain Investments - Carbon credited farming through Jathropha plantation of 2500 trees over a 35 year cycle.

Late November, the Directors returned from a successful fundraising trip across the many challenges of Southern India after taking part in Karma Enduro (karmaenduro.com). Karma raises much needed funds for charities such as rainbowtrust.org.uk and adventureashram.co.uk. Over £250,000 has been raised over the last 12 months through Karma's various worldwide endurance rallies.

As long term property owners, we have considered our position carefully and have developed a simple approach - waste less, pay less, damage less.

This is reflected in a variety of ways:-

1. Elimination of waste from all aspects of our business to ensure we offer our customers maximum value for money and minimise impact on the environment.
2. We view demolition of recyclable buildings as wasteful and will look to regenerate opportunities wherever possible so as to avoid unnecessary environmental impact.
3. We maximise modern energy saving technologies within our buildings wherever possible together with high quality design.
4. We are currently working on the introduction of low energy heating and lighting systems together with solar power technology and smart meters across a number of our properties.
5. We are in the process of extending our existing customer recycling scheme, further reducing waste generated and saving our customers disposal costs.
